Fluid-less Vane Primer
Part Number: AP00960
The Darley Fluid-less Vane Primer is a high-performance, positive-displacement rotary vane vacuum primer designed to rapidly establish suction for fire pumps in demanding emergency response environments. Engineered for dependable operation in municipal, industrial, airport, military, and wildland firefighting applications, this fluid-less priming system delivers 20′ to 28′ suction lift capability while eliminating the maintenance concerns associated with traditional liquid-filled primers. Constructed from heat-treated, hard-coated anodized aluminum alloy, the Fluid-less Vane Primer provides exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and long service life for fire apparatus and pumping systems. Compatible with a wide range of fire pumps and available in both 12-volt and 24-volt configurations, it offers reliable performance when quick water drafting is critical.
Reliable Fire Pump Priming Performance
Designed to create fast, dependable vacuum pressure, the Fluid-less Vane Primer helps firefighters establish draft efficiently from static water sources such as ponds, lakes, reservoirs, and portable tanks. The positive displacement rotary vane design generates strong suction while minimizing maintenance requirements, helping departments maximize apparatus uptime and operational readiness.
Durable Construction for Demanding Fire Service Applications
Built from heat-treated and hard-coated anodized aluminum alloy, this fire pump primer is designed to withstand harsh operating conditions commonly encountered in firefighting and emergency response environments. Its rugged construction provides resistance to corrosion, wear, and environmental exposure, making it well-suited for front-line apparatus and specialty pumping equipment.
Complete Priming System Package
The Fluid-less Vane Primer includes a rotary vane priming pump, control system, and complete mounting and operating instructions. Available in both 12-volt and 24-volt configurations, the system integrates easily with vehicle electrical systems and is suitable for new apparatus builds, retrofit projects, and custom pump installations.
