W.S. Darley & Co. received the Export Continuing Excellence Award at the 2016 Governor’s Export ceremony. The Governor’s Export Awards are Illinois’ highest recognition of export achievement, honoring Illinois companies that have achieved excellence in exporting, as well as organizations that provide export assistance. Peter Darley commented, “Darley was honored to receive this prestigious award, and we give thanks to our dedicated employees and global partners who helped to make this possible.”
Illinois is the largest exporting state in the Midwest and the fifth largest exporting state in the nation. As the 17th largest economy in the world, Illinois is an international center of global commerce. Fortune magazine reports that 37 of the Fortune 500 companies call Illinois their home. Darley has more than 50 international dealers in 40 countries.
