Hi I’m Paul Darley, thanks for coming to watch this month’s edition of Inside Darley.
This month we are coming to you live from the Fire Department Instructor’s Conference or FDIC, in Indianapolis.
We are also memorializing and remembering the amazing life of Bill Darley, who passed away recently. We’ve been remembering him with all those he touched during his life, and going through his legendary ‘book of quotes’ which is almost required reading here at Darley. A copy of his quotes is our first attachment. You can watch the eulogies of Bill by myself and his grandson Matt Darley via the embeds below. Thank you to everyone for your support, memories and thoughts of Bill. They mean so much to all of our family.
Here at FDIC we are looking to the future with some disruptive technologies featured right here in our booth. We’ve set up a drone cage, as well as a virtual reality firefighting training system called the FLAIM trainer. Both are a huge hit. For more information on drones contact Mike Mocerino. Be sure also to check out our brand new Darley Robotics website as well. To request a demo or more information on the FLAIM trainer system contact Matt Darley. Our second attachment is an article on disruptive technologies from YPO, an organization I belong to. Our third attachment is a flyer outlining some of our drone capabilities.
We’re excited to introduce two new salesman to Team Darley. Bruce Ireland will be responsible for pump sales in America, and Chris Gannon who will be covering Latin America and the Caribbean for Darley. Welcome to both of you!
Lastly we want to remind you that for the Kubota Engine, one of our most popular, due to emissions changes we must have all engine orders in to our supplier by May 15, and all pumps shipped to you by December 31st to meet the tier 4 EPA requirements.
As always thanks for watching this issue of Inside Darley, and coming to see us at FDIC, and if there is anything we can be doing to assist you, we hope you’ll reach out to us.
Paul
