Darley was proud to sponsor the 20th annual Illinois Fire Service Home Day event, hosted by NIPSTA in Glenview, Illinois.
This outstanding event brought together over 150 fire service leaders and managers, along with representatives from 20 fire equipment manufacturers, who collectively support nearly 100,000 fire service professionals across Illinois.
James Long, President of our Defense Division at Darley, was among the featured speakers. Attendees had the opportunity to hear his insights, along with those of other industry leaders, and explore the latest equipment funded through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program (AFG) over the past two decades.
The AFG program fills essential equipment gaps for approximately 1.1 million first responders nationwide. This grant ensures that firefighters have access to the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively and enhance public safety.
This impactful event was made possible through the support of the Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association of Illinois, in partnership with FAMA and FEMSA, and with the backing of the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association, MABAS, IAFC, NVFC, and CFSI.
