Episode 14 - Super Vac Family Owned and Firefighter Focused

In the 1930’s a new and unique fan blade was created. 24 years later what started as a fan blade became Super Vac. Since its creation, Super Vac has been providing firefighters the most durable ventilators to extract smoke and heat from buildings. To better serve firefighters, Super Vac created a line of custom-built rescue apparatus and floodlights.

Firefighters have one of the toughest jobs in the world. The tools and equipment they use must be built with a higher level of durability. Other companies like to say their equipment is firefighter proof. But anyone who has worked in the fire industry knows a firefighter can find a way to break anything. Super Vac calls their equipment firefighter resistant because they are always looking for ways to improve their dependability.

To better serve firefighters Super Vac added to their product line. In 1971, SVI Trucks was born. SVI Trucks started out as an idea on a napkin and soon became a successful branch in the Super Vac family. In 1972, firefighters were finding it difficult to operate using generic scene lighting. Super Vac designed and manufactured hydraulic scene light towers to meet this need. In 1991, Super Vac patented an electrically operated robotic arm lighting tower, marketed as command light. Today, Command light provides custom scene light solutions with the durability of a firefighter.

Super Vac has been around for over 60 years, their high-quality products are known throughout the fire industry. With their plans to provide solutions internationally, Super Vac has shown they are always looking for ways to improve. Firefighters can always look to Super Vac, the family focused on firefighters, for best solutions.
