Inside Sales Associate

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers providing quotes, product support, and technical information as necessary.
  • Generate sales leads.
  • Marketing of the product in the manner appropriate to the customer.
  • Interface with end users as required for clarification which may include 2-3 hours on the phone per day.
  • Interface with Darley’s vendors for competitive pricing on upcoming bids.
  • Make initial contact with vendors from requests from Regional Sales Managers.
  • Set up required search agents on FED BIZ OPS. Follow up on company established search agents.
  • Responsible for the post award life cycle of the order including sales order entry, expediting delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with all other company departments to ensure the customer’s needs are met.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate Degree from Accredited Institution or equivalent experience in this field.
  • 1 year+ of sales support experience
  • Proficient at MS Office Suite Products
  • Great attitude and work ethic.

    Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Combat Arms Military Experience
  • 2 year+ of sales support experience
  • Superior military product knowledge
  • Deployment Experience
  • Military Logistics Experience

    Account Manager

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers providing quotes, product support, and technical information as necessary.
  • Interprets data using a variety of techniques to predict future product needs and inventory levels.
  • Develops, along with the Regional Sales Manager, proposals and statements of work for long-term contract opportunities.
  • Marketing of the product in the manner appropriate to the customer.
  • Interface with end users as required for clarification which may include 2-3 hours on the phone per day.
  • Interface with Darley’s vendors to establish long term relationships and monitor current contract requirements in order to meet the needs of the end users.
  • Set up required search agents and follow up on companies with established search agents.
  • Responsible for the post award life cycle of the order including sales order entry, expediting, and customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with all other company departments to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
  • Act as a point of contact for less experienced inside sales team members.
  • Participate and contribute to various continuous improvement teams and projects.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate Degree from Accredited Institution or equivalent experience in this field.
  • 2+ years of sales support experience
  • Proficient at MS Office Suite Products with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Outgoing person with a great attitude and work ethic
  • Military product knowledge
